The company was established in 2016 to meet an under-serviced demand for residential and commercial landscaping development and maintenance, for properties in the North Thompson Valley.
Services provided by MRE include: required regular maintenance, construction, improvements and assessments, and new landscaping developments for current and future needs.

Clyde's Biography
Clyde MacLennan is the Owner/Operator of Mac River Enterprises Ltd.
As a lifelong resident of the area, Clyde feels personally invested in the community at all levels.
Clyde’s vision and intention for Mac River Enterprises Ltd. is to focus purposely on providing quality and skilled services to the community. This is accomplished by applying a strong work ethic, fostered by years of entrepreneurship and a lifetime of farming on the family homestead. Mac River was envisioned and developed by Clyde MacLennan and became Limited in 2020.
Clyde has invested many years and has gained valuable professional experience and certifications in the Forestry and Resource Industry, Lawn & Garden Development and Maintenance, Park Facilities and Ground Maintenance, Landscape Construction, and Residential and Commercial Irrigation Systems.
Clyde has an impressive resume of certifications to assure that all clients of Mac River Enterprises Ltd can have full confidence in the services offered.
Alexandra Doherty
Alex's Biography
Alexandra Doherty has been with Mac River Enterprises Ltd. since its inception in 2016. She has been an integral part of MRE Ltd in her work ethic, leadership, and development of the business.
Before MRE Ltd., Alex had been well known in Clearwater as a strong advocate and mentor in theatre arts with the CSS Players, as well as a producer and player in the After Hours Theater Company.
For many years, Alex participated as a soccer coach and has contributed to many school functions and after school programs.
Currently you might recognize her as the woman in the pink tank top with her head down, riding or pushing a mower, trimming & weeding, and hauling dozens of bags per day.
For Alex, working hard from April to October to keep Clearwater’s parks and public spaces well-kept and beautiful, is a personal investment for the community.
Alex leads our landscaping field operations. She is available to give assessments and quotes with an appointment.
